Before the Spring Festival, the project will complete 50% of the interior decoration project, which is a big step closer to completion and commissioning.
It is reported that on May 10, 2021, the Tianjin Municipal Government signed a cooperation agreement with Peking Union Medical College of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences to jointly build the Tianjin base, the core base of China's medical science and technology innovation system, including Tianjin Hospital of Peking Union Medical College, Tianjin Institute of Medical Health, Tianjin Campus of Peking Union Medical College, and Haihe Laboratory of Cell Ecology (Cell Valley). Among them, the three projects of Tianjin Hospital of Peking Union Medical College, Tianjin Institute of Medical Health, and Tianjin Campus of Peking Union Medical College are located in the cooperation demonstration zone, with a total planned land area of 2,142 acres and a total investment of more than 10 billion yuan.
The Tianjin Campus of Peking Union Medical College is located in Jinghai District, Tianjin, in the innovation area of the China-Japan (Tianjin) Health Industry Development Cooperation Demonstration Zone. The construction scale of the project is 200,000 square meters, and construction has started in September 2023.
The Tianjin Campus of Peking Union Medical College is a key project to undertake the relief of non-capital functions, one of the largest social undertakings in Tianjin during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, and a "medical education fulcrum" for the implementation of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development strategy. After the completion of the project, it will become a high-level medical education base integrating "medical talent training, medical service transformation, and international cooperation and exchange", which can not only cultivate high-quality medical talents, but also promote the sharing of medical resources, accelerate medical science and technology innovation, and inject "concordant forces" into the improvement of people's livelihood and well-being.
