A delegation led by the Vice President of the Royal College of Art visited the Central Academy of Fine Arts

On March 16, 2026, a delegation led by Ken Neil, Vice President of the Royal College of Art (RCA), visited the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Lin Mao, President of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, met with the guests, and the two sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in art education and cultural exchanges between the two institutions.

President Lin Mao welcomed Vice President Ken Neil and his delegation, and introduced the Central Academy of Fine Arts’ operations as well as the progress it has made in recent years in art education, scientific research and innovation, and international cooperation. He stated that the Central Academy of Fine Arts adheres to an open educational philosophy and actively promotes high-level international exchange and cooperation, expressing a willingness to gradually achieve comprehensive, practical, and reciprocal cooperation with the Royal College of Art across all disciplines.

Vice President Ken Neil expressed his gratitude for the hospitality extended by the Central Academy of Fine Arts, offered positive evaluations of the institution’s achievements and international influence, and introduced the Royal College of Art’s 2026–2030 development plan. He expressed a willingness to strengthen cooperation with the Central Academy of Fine Arts in areas such as faculty and student exchanges, academic research, and exhibition collaborations, with the aim of continuously deepening the relationship between the two institutions.

Both sides agreed to use this visit as an opportunity to further expand cooperation in joint teaching, research collaboration, and emerging art fields, thereby driving new progress in Sino-British art education exchange and cooperation.
