On the evening of March 3, the International Students Office organized a cultural experience activity for international students to attend the 2026 Spring Festival Lantern Fair at the Old Summer Palace. Strolling through the historic garden under the dazzling night lights, the students immersed themselves in the festive atmosphere of traditional Chinese celebrations and experiencedthe unique charm of Chinese culture through the interplay of light and history.

As one of the most popular cultural events in Beijing during the Spring Festival season, the Old Summer Palace Lantern Fair takes the grand classical garden as its backdrop and ingeniously blends traditional lantern artistry with modern lighting technology. As theystrolled through the park, the students admired a variety of uniquely themed lantern displays. With every step revealing a new scene, they not only experienced the joyful festive atmosphere but also deepened their understanding of traditional Chinese folk culture.
