Guo Yong, deputy secretary of the party committee of the school, Yang Bin, deputy director of the school affairs committee, Fang Huijian, former secretary of the party committee of the school, Ding Huang, co-convener of the public administration discipline review group of the State Council, distinguished dean of the School of Public Administration of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and distinguished professor of "Luojia Scholar" of Wuhan University, Hu Angang, senior professor of liberal arts at Tsinghua University and honorary dean of the Institute of National Affairs of Tsinghua University, and Xue Lan, senior professor of liberal arts at Tsinghua University and dean of Schwarzman College of Tsinghua University, attended the event.

At the event, Yang Bin congratulated the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the School of Public Administration on behalf of the school. The event specially set up an award ceremony to commend and thank the emeritus faculty and staff who participated in the establishment and development of the college. Guo Jinju, Wu Yanjun, Zhang Suzhen, Zhao Mingzhu, and Zheng Rong won the "Mingde Glory Service Award". Chu Shulong, Lan Zhiyong, Li Baoming, Liu Qinglong, Liu Qiushi, Qi Ye, Shi Zulin, Wang Ming, Yang Yansui, Yin Cunyi, Yu An, Yu Qiao, and Yu Yongda won the "Mingde Glory Contribution Award". Hu Angang won the "Mingde Outstanding Contribution Award" and spoke on behalf of the winners.
