On October 23, 2025, the School of Materials of Beijing Institute of Technology successfully held an exchange meeting on the training of international students in China. As the second activity in the series of activities of "Improving the Quality of Graduate Talent Training", this activity is carried out for all international students in China, aiming to help international students gain an in-depth understanding of the training process and key nodes at the postgraduate level, further improve the level of postgraduate education management services, and improve the quality of training for international students in China.
Gao Lihong, Vice Dean in charge of Graduate Education, Cheng Lu, Graduate School Training Office, Zhou Xiaolin, Director of the Graduate School Teaching and Research Office, and Luo Jie, Graduate Teaching Officer, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Zhou Xiaolin focused on the overall framework of graduate training, and introduced in detail the specific requirements and time nodes of each link from the opening report, mid-term assessment to defense. Combined with her years of experience in teaching and management, she provides practical study advice for international students in China, helping them better adapt to and plan their academic life at our university. The students present exchanged views on the issues they were interested in and said that they had gained a lot.
This exchange meeting not only provided learning guidance for international students in China, but also further strengthened the communication and contact between the college and international students in China. In the future, the college will continue to optimize the training mechanism and strengthen process management to ensure that every international student in China can receive a high-quality graduate education experience at our university.
