9月25日至27日，北京师范大学“一带一路”沿线国家国际学生代表赴内蒙古鄂尔多斯市参加交流活动。 本次活动为国际交流与合作处组织的“感知中国”系列活动之一。 通过实地参访、文化体验等方式，国际学生深入感受鄂尔多斯在生态治理、新能源发展方面的魅力。
From September 25 to 27, a group of international students from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative at Beijing Normal University visited Ordos City in Inner Mongolia for an exchange program. This event was part of the "Experience China" series organized by the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation. Through field visits and cultural immersion, the students gained an in-depth appreciation of Ordos’s achievements in ecological restoration and new-energy development.
9月26日上午，同学们来到达拉特旗光伏基地，实地了解达拉特旗防沙治沙和风电光伏一体化工程，感受绿色能源与生态治理的融合发展。 “光伏长城”工程运用板上发电、板间种植的立体生态模式，实现了从“沙进人退”到“绿进沙退”的转变，奏响中国新能源智慧与治沙智慧的时代强音。 同学们登上观光塔，俯瞰壮观的金沙、蓝海、绿洲交融的库布齐沙漠。
On the morning of September 26, the students arrived at the Dalate Banner photovoltaic base to see first-hand how the banner is combating desertification and integrating wind–solar power generation. They witnessed the seamless blend of green energy and ecological governance. The “PV Great Wall” project uses an elevated model—generating electricity on the panels while cultivating crops between them—turning the tide from “sand advances, people retreat” to “green advances, sand retreats” and sounding a contemporary clarion call for China’s twin wisdom in renewable energy and desert control. From the sightseeing tower, the students gazed down on the breathtaking mosaic of golden dunes, sapphire panels, and verdant oases stretching across the Kubuqi Desert.
9月26日下午，同学们来到达拉特旗银肯塔拉沙漠生态治理区，了解该区域的生态治理成果和文旅产业发展，亲身感受“绿水青山就是金山银山”理念的生动实践。 同学们骑上骆驼，行走在沙漠绿洲之间，仿佛穿越千年时光，探索丝路文明的交融，感受“一带一路”的历史脉络。
On the afternoon of September 26, the students traveled to the Yinken Tal desert-restoration zone in Dalate Banner. There they learned how decades of ecological work have turned drifting dunes into stable soil and how this environmental success has seeded a thriving cultural-tourism economy—living proof of the maxim “lucid waters and lush mountains are mountains of gold and silver.” Mounted on camels, they moved between fresh green oases and golden sands, feeling as if they had slipped back a thousand years to retrace the convergence of Silk-Road civilizations and to sense the historic pulse of today’s Belt and Road.
9月27日上午，同学们来到东胜区参加“感知鄂尔多斯”中秋文化交流活动。 大家与当地学生代表、街道居民一同观看了当地艺术家带来的马头琴表演、亲手制作传统月饼与灯笼、踊跃参加猜灯谜活动。 活动中同学们与鄂尔多斯生态环境职业学院师生交流，建立了深厚友谊。 随后，同学们来到广场，同街道舞蹈团成员学习简单的蒙古舞动作。 国际学生们在传统文化体验中，加深了对中华传统文化的理解与认同。
On the morning of September 27, the students joined the “Feeling Ordos” Mid-Autumn cultural exchange in Dong Sheng District. Together with local pupils and neighbourhood residents they watched masterful morin khuur performances, hand-shaped traditional moon-cakes and lanterns, and vied to solve riddles dangling from scarlet streamers. Between activities they chatted with teachers and students from Ordos Eco-environment Vocational College, bonds deepening over shared laughter. Afterwards, on the nearby square, street-dance team members taught them the basic steps of a Mongolian dance. Immersed in these living traditions, the international students left with a fuller understanding—and a new-found affection—of Chinese culture.
丝路明月，温暖相聚；山河安澜，驼铃悠扬。 本次研学活动促进了中外青年学生的跨文化对话，传递了中国生态文明实践与传统文化魅力。 在实地探访与体验中，我校国际学生不仅了解了中国在绿色能源和生态治理方面的先进经验，也增进了对中华优秀传统文化的认识与认同。 国际交流与合作处将持续举办“感知中国”系列活动，为国际学生提供更多感知当代中国的活动机会。
Beneath the same bright moon that once shone on the Silk Road, we gathered in warmth; across peaceful mountains and rivers, camel bells still chimed. This field-study journey opened a cross-cultural dialogue among young students from every horizon and carried China’s ecological achievements and time-honoured traditions into new hearts. Through site visits and hands-on experiences, our international scholars not only learned advanced practices in green energy and landscape restoration, but also deepened their appreciation—and affection—for outstanding elements of Chinese civilisation. The Office of International Exchange and Cooperation will continue the “Experience China” series, creating ever more opportunities for international students to see, touch and understand the country as it is today.
