In the relaxed and harmonious tea break exchange, the students discussed the daily life of the campus, covering various topics such as daily life, academic dynamics, teacher-student bonds, and midterm exam review plans, and specifically answered some questions raised by the students about the winter vacation practice and the special activities organized by students. The discussion revealed many real and tangible details of life: the occasional night celebration in the accommodation area would disturb the peace of the adjacent dormitories; toilets on some floors have malfunctions and hygiene problems; the expression of abstract concepts in advanced mathematics courses; As well as the upcoming midterm exams on the weekend, students sincerely share their experiences.

Speaking of sports, as the first student of Bauhinia College, I am very happy that the college provides us with the opportunity to participate in the college team. What's even more interesting is that I found that the students of Bauhinia College are actually looking forward to more exchanges and cooperation with other departments, especially with local students. Through the Dean's Discussion, I gained a clearer understanding of the College's structure and vision - to become a melting pot of diverse expertise, to be the organizational coordinator of cross-background teams, and to be the leader of the team. ”The midterm is on the upcoming weekend, I share the same feelings as others, which is kind of struggling for the midterm but I will try my best in doing preparations. Talking about sports, I am also glad as the first batch of Zijing College, which offering me various opportunities to join the college sports teams. Furthermore, the interesting thing is that I found out that Zijing students actually hope for more interactions and collaborations with the other colleges or departments, especially with the local students. Through the talk session with the dean, I got some clearer overview of the structure and vision of Zijing College, which is to be a fusion of different professional knowledges and skills, to be a coordinator in organizing people from different backgrounds, and to be a leader in a team. I am also looking forward to the winter social practice discussed in the talk, a chance to dive into chinese culture and explore the yet discovered part by me.
