On September 27, 2025, a "Zhihui Appointment" linking the dual campuses of Beijing and Zhuhai came to a successful conclusion. The "Sensing China - Beijing-Zhuhai Wisdom Gathering, Industry-University Integration" event organized by Beijing Institute of Technology created an industry-academia feast for more than 60 international students in China, integrating academic depth, industrial practice and cultural thickness, demonstrating China's scientific and technological strength and development vitality from multiple angles. On September 26, the "Intelligent Technology and Industrial Application Theme Forum" was opened simultaneously in Beijing and Zhuhai campuses. Gao Shan, director of the International Student Center of Beijing Institute of Technology, said in his speech that the university has always regarded the education of international students in China as an important part of talent training and international cooperation, and sent a message to international students to "go beyond the classroom, go deep into the forefront of China's social and economic development, and feel the real, three-dimensional and comprehensive China".

Professor Liu Shuli of the School of Mechanical and Vehicle Engineering analyzed how academic research supports industrial development and how industrial demand feeds back academic innovation with the title of "Interaction between Academics and Industry". Associate Professor Che Haiying of the School of Computer Science systematically expounded its core role in digital transformation around the development of intelligent software engineering, which aroused enthusiastic responses from international students.
In the presentation session of doctoral students and alumni representatives, international students from different disciplines from Beijing Institute of Technology, Peking University, Beihang University, and University of Science and Technology Beijing shared cutting-edge research results such as industrial Internet and new energy. In the interactive session, international students actively asked questions, collided ideas to broaden their horizons, and students from Zhuhai Campus also participated simultaneously through the live broadcast platform to achieve cross-regional academic linkage.

International students walked into Yonyou Network Technology Co., Ltd., visited the digital office scene and enterprise-level software platform, witnessed the "hard core strength" of Chinese enterprises to drive digital transformation with software innovation, and praised "the innovation ability and industrial strength of Chinese enterprises far exceeded expectations".
Cultural experiences further deepen international students' understanding of China's development. On September 27, 2025, students in Beijing walked into the History Museum of the Communist Party of China to understand the spiritual code of China's leapfrog development and touch the historical heritage of Beijing in the cultural activities of the central axis; Students in Zhuhai checked in the landmarks of Riyuebei City, visited the urban planning exhibition hall and museum, systematically understood the transformation process of the Pearl River Delta since the reform and opening up, and experienced the development wisdom behind the "Chinese speed".
With "perceiving China" as the core concept, "Beijing-Zhuhai Wisdom Gathering" as the platform, and "industry-university integration" as the practical path, this event not only builds a bridge between academic and industrial dialogue, but also creates a practical classroom for international students in China to integrate knowledge and action.
