2026 Beihang University International Undergraduate Program Enrollment Brochure

1. Application qualifications

  1. The applicant must be a non-Chinese citizen holding a valid foreign passport, and comply with the relevant provisions of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Education of China Jiao Wai Han [2020] No. 12 and other relevant regulations;
  2. Physical and mental health, good conduct, friendly to China, age is required to be between 18 and 22 years old, high school diploma or above;
  3. Applicants applying for Chinese as the medium of instruction must provide an HSK score report within two years, and the language proficiency must reach HSK level 5 or above in the Chinese proficiency test, with a score of not less than 180 points (inclusive);

Applicants applying for English as the medium of instruction must provide proof of English language proficiency within two years, such as IELTS (6.0 and above), TOEFL (90 and above), or proof of study in English for all courses during high school.

2. Admission review schedule

Application start date: November 1, 2025

Application deadline: June 30, 2026

(Applicants need to complete the online application information submission, application material submission and re-submission of unqualified application materials before this date)

Pre-admission date:

The first batch will be in March 2026

Second batch April 2026

The third batch will be in June 2026

Official admission date: July 2026

Date of admission: September 2026 (please refer to the admission letter for the specific date)

3. Application steps

Step 1: Take the "Undergraduate Admission Academic Proficiency Test for Studying in China"

Applicants must take the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA Test) organized by the China Scholarship Council of the Ministry of Education of China and obtain test scores www.csca.cn.

Step 2: Log in to the Beihang International Student Online Application System to register an account

Log in to the http://admission.buaa.edu.cn/ of the Beihang International Student Online Application System, register an account with the applicant's personal email address, and fill in the registration information form according to the online requirements. (Note: Personal email is an important feedback channel for application and admission information, from application submission to admission, personal email cannot be modified)

Step 3: Submit your application materials online

Upload scanned copies of the original materials online as required:

  1. The information page of the ordinary passport (valid after March 1, 2027), applicants in Chinese mainland also need to provide a current valid visa page or residence permit page. (Note: Passports cannot be replaced from application submission to admission)
  2. High school graduation certificate (fresh graduates can provide the expected graduation certificate issued by their school when applying, and must submit a formal high school graduation certificate before formal admission.) The applicant's original high school diploma will be checked upon enrollment)
  3. Transcripts of all courses in high school
  4. Transcript of the "Undergraduate Admission Test for Studying in China" (CSCA test) of the Ministry of Education of China
  5. Proof of language proficiency that meets the language requirements for the application major
  6. Foreigner's physical examination form and blood test report within the 6-month validity period (the applicant must download the "Foreigner's Physical Examination Form" and go to a local regular medical institution for a physical examination in strict accordance with the items listed in the form.
  7. Letter of guarantee from the economic guarantor
  8. Proof of financial ability of the financial guarantor. Bank deposit certificate of not less than 4 years of total tuition fees or proof of annual income of not less than 30,000 yuan.
  9. Applicant's birth certificate
  10. Documents proving the nationality of both parents at the time of the applicant's birth (including passports, ID cards, certificates of permanent residency abroad, etc.)
  11. A certificate of no criminal record issued by the local public security organ with a validity period of less than 6 months (applicants currently in China must provide a certificate of no criminal record in China issued by the local immigration administration department)
  12. Letter of Commitment of Good Faith to ensure that the materials provided by the applicant are true and valid. If the authenticity of the application materials is found, the application qualification will be canceled immediately
  • Applicants under the age of 18 on September 1, 2026 are required to submit a notarized certificate of "Guardian Guarantee", and in principle, the guardian should be an adult living in the campus city (Beijing/Hangzhou) and have financial resources (reference process for the notarization of guardianship for applicants under the age of 18)
  • 14. Other supplementary materials (such as award certificates, personal profiles, portfolios, etc.)

    *If the original of the above application materials is in a text other than Chinese or English, a notarized translation is also required

    *When uploading, you need to submit scanned copies of the original of the above materials, and you do not need to submit paper application materials

    *Applicants for art majors are required to provide a collection of paintings upon request

    Step 4: Pay the registration fee and formally submit the application

    Pay the registration fee and upload the payment voucher according to the website guidelines; After the application fee is approved, the application will be officially submitted.

    *After the online application is successfully submitted, please be sure to pay attention to the status changes of the online application system and your personal email address in time

    4. Educational system and fees

    Duration: 4 years

    Registration fee: 400 RMB, paid online. (The application fee will not be refunded regardless of whether the application is successful or not)

    Tuition Fees:

    Chinese-taught programs Science and engineering, economics and management, grammar majors: 25,000 yuan/year

    Chinese-taught programs: 30,000 yuan/year

    All majors in English-taught programs: 30,000 yuan/year

    Insurance premium: 3200 yuan/4 years. All students are required to purchase comprehensive medical insurance for the fourth academic year at the time of registration.

    Accommodation Fee*:

    Beijing campus: double room, 30 yuan/bed/day

    Hangzhou International Campus: double room, 2000~2500 yuan/academic year

    • Accommodation in the International Student Apartment must be booked in advance
    • The dormitory reservation method will be released after official admission
    • The accommodation fee is based on the actual dormitory and does not include utilities

    Beihang University

    In 1951, the state decided to merge the Department of Aeronautics of Beiyang University, Xiamen University and Northwest Institute of Technology into the Department of Aeronautical Engineering of Tsinghua University and establish the School of Aeronautical Engineering of Tsinghua University. merged the Department of Aeronautical Engineering of Yunnan University into the Department of Aeronautics of Sichuan University; The Aviation Major of Southwest Industrial College was merged into the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, School of Engineering, North China University. In 1952, according to the requirements of the adjustment of colleges and universities across the country, Beijing Institute of Aeronautics was established, which was established by the merger of the Department of Aviation of Beijing Institute of Technology, the School of Aeronautical Engineering of Tsinghua University, and the Department of Aeronautics of Sichuan University. On October 25, 1952, the inaugural meeting of Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics was held in the auditorium of Beijing Institute of Technology (the former site of Sino-French University). In 1988, the school was renamed Beihang University.
