
From October 31st to November 3rd, the final final of the 19th "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition was successfully concluded at Nanjing University.
In this competition, our school achieved a historic breakthrough - for the first time, as a representative of the winning team, we were invited to participate in the theme report and award ceremony of the competition "Science and Technology Innovation for the Country". At the ceremony, Kang Feng, a member of the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Integration Chinese and Foreign Practice Team" of our school, conducted a project roadshow on behalf of the team. In this exhibition session, after strict selection by the organizing committee, only 7 works in the country were shortlisted. Our university, Tsinghua University, Nanjing University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Southern University of Science and Technology, University of Macau and other university teams took the stage to perform, fully demonstrating the innovative style of Western science and technology students.
In the end, the students of our school achieved another good result, winning 1 second prize and 2 third prizes in the main competition, and 1 third prize in the "Artificial Intelligence +" special competition. In the special competition held in the early stage, our school won 1 special prize, achieving a new breakthrough in the competition results.
Xi'an University of Technology

The school was founded in 1949 when the People's Government took over the National Peking Advanced Industrial Vocational School, and was formerly known as Shaanxi Institute of Mechanical Engineering established by the merger of Beijing Institute of Machinery and Shaanxi University of Technology in 1972, and was renamed Xi'an University of Technology in 1994 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 1998, the school was transferred from the Ministry of Machinery Industry to Shaanxi Province. In 2002, Shaanxi Province approved the integration of Xi'an Instrument Industrial School into Xi'an University of Technology as a whole.
