From October 17th to 18th, 2025, international students from Beijing University of International Business and Economics from more than 20 countries visited this year's HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit at the Capital International Convention and Exhibition Center.
As an important part of the school's national education, this event helps international students deeply understand China's cutting-edge development in scientific and technological innovation, industrial ecology and talent strategy from a global perspective, and expand their multi-dimensional understanding of contemporary China's economic and social development. Since its establishment in 2020, HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit and Entrepreneurship Competition has successfully attracted 45,000 entrepreneurial talents from 167 countries and regions around the world to participate, and has incubated a number of well-known enterprises and "specialized, special and new" projects.
With the theme of "Building a Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecological Capital", this summit has set up a number of characteristic sections such as world-class university exhibition areas, technology enterprise cluster exhibition areas, benchmark incubators, and international venture capital institution exhibition areas, building a high-level international platform integrating display, docking, exchange and cooperation, fully demonstrating China's active actions in promoting global innovation cooperation and high-quality development.
During the two-day visit, under the guidance of staff and volunteers, the international students systematically visited the core exhibition areas of the summit to gain an in-depth understanding of scientific and technological innovation achievements and entrepreneurial ecosystems in various fields. Students actively participated in the main forum of the 2025 HICOOL Entrepreneur Summit and a number of keynote speeches, communicating with entrepreneurs, investors and business representatives from all over the world on topics such as digital economy, green technology, artificial intelligence, and international investment and financing.

"Organizing international students to participate in social practice activities such as the HICOOL Global Entrepreneur Summit is an important measure for the International School of the University of International Business and Economics to continue to promote the brand building of "Study in International Trade and Economics" and deepen practical education.
