On September 10, 2025, the China Education Association for International Exchange announced the results of the quality certification of studying in China in the first half of 2025, and Beijing Jiaotong University passed the quality certification (re-certification) of higher education in China with an A certification level, obtaining the longest certification validity period of 8 years, becoming one of the two schools in the country to participate in the certification in the first half of the year and obtain an A grade.
The quality certification of higher education in China is a highly authoritative, professional and influential quality assurance activity guided by the Ministry of Education and implemented by the China Education Association for International Exchange, aiming to continuously improve the quality of education and management services in China, and promote the high-quality development of education in China.
Beijing Jiaotong University attaches great importance to the quality certification of higher education for studying in China, passing the first certification in 2019 and applying for re-certification at the end of 2023. This certification has set up a special leadership group led by the president as the leader, the school leaders in charge of international exchanges, education and teaching, and student work as the deputy leader, and the main heads of international student training units and related functional departments in China, as well as a special working group led by the School of International Education and composed of vice deans in charge of various functional departments and training units.

From May 15 to 16, 2025, the China Education Association for International Exchange conducted an on-site review of the quality certification (re-certification) of higher education in China for studying in China.
