On October 26, the first International Student Games in Yunnan, the 6th Lancang-Mekong University Student Friendship Games and the 8th Kunming Exchange Week for College Students from South and Southeast Asian Countries came to an end.

42 international students from 15 countries including Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Myanmar and Laos formed a team to participate in four events: football, volleyball, badminton and martial arts, showing the youthful demeanor of international students of Yunnan University through sports. On the field, the international students of Yunnan University have repeatedly achieved good results with a full mental state and solid sports skills.

The martial arts event of this sports event became the biggest highlight. Yang Xunting won the first place in the men's 24-style simplified Tai Chi, junior three-way long fist, and Tai Chi fan events; Shuangjiao won the first place in the women's 8-style simplified Tai Chi and Tai Chi sword events and the second place in the Tai Chi fan event. Wushu and badminton have blossomed in many places, and have achieved good results in men's singles, men's doubles, men's team and women's singles. The badminton volleyball and football teams also lived up to expectations, winning sixth and seventh place respectively.

Each honor embodies the sweat and hard work of the students, and also conveys the friendship and trust between young people from different countries. By competing and interacting with students from all over the world, Yun University students have broadened their international horizons and deepened their emotional connections through cross-cultural exchanges, injecting vitality into building a closer regional youth exchange network.

In the future, Yunnan University will continue to deepen the field of international talent training, take the brand of "Study in China and Study in Yunnan" as the starting point, focus on the construction needs of radiation centers, and continuously innovate the international talent training model. By enriching the forms of exchange and optimizing the training system, we will build more platforms for youth growth and dialogue in different countries, help young people around the world grow together and work together, and cultivate more youth forces for regional peace and development and mutual learning among civilizations.
