
On November 30, the final of the 2025 Regional Chinese Talent Competition for International Students in China, themed "Perceive China · Gather in Inner Mongolia", concluded at the Inner Mongolia Art Theater. This event was co-hosted by the Information Office of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Department of Education of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and co-organized by the International Education College of Inner Mongolia University and the Inner Mongolia Art Theater. Vice President Dahubaiyila attended the event.
The competition attracted a total of 226 international students from 13 universities in the region to sign up. The contestants came from more than 10 countries including Mongolia, Russia, Laos, Ghana, and the Philippines. After the preliminary selection, a total of 15 programs advanced to the final. The three programs selected by our university—"Splendid China", "Beautiful Grassland My Home", and "Window Peep Chant · Remote Acacia · Black Hair Dance"—won the first, second, and third prizes respectively, and the university won the "Excellent Organization Award".
In recent years, the International Education College of Inner Mongolia University has actively built platforms for international students in China to showcase their talents and promote cultural exchanges. It has enhanced international students' understanding and love for Chinese culture, promoted the exchange and integration of cultures from different countries and regions, and allowed young people from various countries to more truly perceive a real, three-dimensional China.
内蒙古大学(Inner Mongolia University)
Also known as Inner Mongolia University (abbreviated as "Inner Mongolia U"), it is located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a full-time regular higher education institution sponsored by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a key supported construction university under the "One Province, One University" initiative in the central and western regions, and a national "Double First-Class" construction university.
Founded in 1957, Inner Mongolia University is a comprehensive university. In 1960, the Inner Mongolia Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly operated with Inner Mongolia University and was eventually merged into Inner Mongolia University. It began enrolling graduate students in 1962; was designated as a national key university in 1978; became a "211 Project" construction university in 1997; became a "province-ministerial co-constructed" university of the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education in 2004; was selected as a university under the "National Plan for Enhancing the Comprehensive Strength of Universities in the Central and Western Regions" in 2012; became a "ministry-province co-constructed" university of the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2018; and was selected as a national "Double First-Class" construction university in the second round in 2022.
