
Colleges (graduate schools, directly affiliated departments): In order to promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, display the image of contemporary China in multiple dimensions, tell Chinese stories well, and show the spirit of our international students, our university will hold the second Xiamen University International Student Photography Competition. This competition encourages international students to record their studies and life in China through photography, capture social development and changes, tell Chinese stories from a personal perspective, and enhance dialogue and mutual understanding among civilizations.

International students of Xiamen University (including undergraduate, graduate and advanced students)
4. Competition content
This competition is carried out in the form of solicitation of photographic works, and the entries are based on real life and personal experience, must be original, and have not been published in other books, newspapers, periodicals, websites, and new media platforms, nor have they been submitted to other similar competitions.
5. Requirements for entries
1. Around the theme of the event, use the lens to capture real moments in China or related to China. The content of the work can be campus life, popular figures, natural scenery, customs, etc., and the shooting location is in China or other countries and regions related to Chinese elements.
2. The work requires clear pictures, healthy content, and certain artistic expression and appeal. Photographic works can be black and white or color, and the work must be illustrated with text within 100 words. Each person can submit no more than 2 works, both single photos and group photos (no more than 3 in each group, counted as 1 piece).
3. All works are in JPG format, and works taken by SLR, mirrorless SLR, and mobile phones can be entered, and the compressed file requirement is not less than 3MB. Entries will not be returned, and authors are requested to keep the original negatives or digital files.
4. Entries must be original. Contestants should ensure that they enjoy the full, complete and exclusive copyright of the photographic works, and do not infringe on other intellectual property rights such as portrait rights and reputation rights of third parties and personal ownership.
5. The organizing committee of the competition has the right to display, compile, distribute and disseminate the entries on the Internet, and will not pay additional remuneration, and the participants have the right to authorize.
六、时间安排2025年10月—12月,具体分为三个阶段:
1.报名阶段:11月10日之前,提交报名表并发送参赛作品。
2.评奖阶段:11月中下旬,大赛组委会将组织相关人员对参赛作品进行评选,最终评选结果将于学院微信公众号、网站进行公示,并对获奖人员进行表彰。
3.宣传展示阶段:本次赛事摄影获奖的作品,拟定于12月初在厦门大学翔安校区坤銮楼展厅进行展览。
七、参赛方式11月10日之前扫码填写报名表,同时将参赛作品及对应的作品说明(100字内)以附件形式发送至[email protected],邮件标题统一命名格式为:摄影+姓名+作品标题。
八、奖项设置一等奖:2名,奖金及获奖证书;二等奖:3名,奖金及获奖证书;三等奖:5名,奖金及获奖证书;优秀奖:10名,奖品及获奖证书;赛事奖项将视参赛人数和作品质量酌情增减。
