Wuhan University is a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. 1申请资格Application Eligibility
1.申请者应为非中国籍公民，且符合教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文件要求。申请人身心健康，愿意遵守中国的法律法规及武汉大学规章制度。
2. 申请者年龄原则上为18至30岁，年龄计算按入学当年9月1日为准；仍未满18周岁的申请人，须在申请时提交监护人保证书。
3. 语言能力 申请中文授课者，汉语水平须达到新HSK4级180分（含）以上。母语为汉语或高中阶段使用汉语授课的申请者，经我校认定，可免除提供HSK成绩。 申请英文授课者，英语水平需达TOEFL 80+，TOEFL Essential 8+或IELTS 6.0+。母语为英语或上一学历使用英语授课的申请者，经我校认定，可免除提供TOEFL、IELTS成绩。 汉语言专业申请者，汉语水平达到新HSK4级180分（含）以上，且在大学等教育机构学习汉语言一年及以上，成绩优秀，经本人申请、国际教育学院组织考核、通过者可插入汉语言专业二年级学习。汉语水平达到新HSK5级180分（含）以上，且在大学等教育机构学习汉语言一年及以上，成绩优秀，经本人申请、国际教育学院组织考核、通过者可插入汉语言专业三年级学习。
4. 华裔学习背景要求 父母双方或一方为中国公民或申请者本人从中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾移民外国后取得外国国籍的，根据中华人民共和国教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文，须入籍4年（含）以上，且最近4年（截至2026年4月30日前）之内有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按照一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。 出生在国外的申请者，也需符合上述要求，并提交个人出生证明和父母国籍材料。
1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and meet the requirements specified in Document No. 12 [2020] of the Ministry of Education (Jiaowaihan). Applicants must be in good physical and mental health and willing to abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as the rules and regulations of Wuhan University.
2. Applicants should generally be between 18 and 30 years old, with the age calculated as of September 1st of the enrollment year. Applicants who are still under 18 years of age must submit a guardian’s guarantee letter when applying.
3. Language proficiency: For applicants applying for Chinese-taught programs, their Chinese proficiency must reach or exceed 180 points in the new HSK Level 4. Applicants whose native language is Chinese or who received high school education in Chinese may be exempted from providing HSK scores upon approval by the university. For applicants applying for English-taught programs, their English proficiency must reach TOEFL 80+, TOEFL Essential 8+ or IELTS 6.0+. Applicants whose native language is English or who received their previous education in English may be exempted from providing TOEFL or IELTS scores upon approval by the university. For applicants to the Chinese Language program: Those who have a Chinese proficiency of 180 points or above in the new HSK Level 4, have studied Chinese at a university or other educational institution for one year or more with excellent grades, and have passed the assessment organized by the School of International Education upon their application may be admitted to the second year of the Chinese Language program. Those who have a Chinese proficiency of 180 points or above in the new HSK Level 5, have studied Chinese at a university or other educational institution for one year or more with excellent grades, and have passed the assessment organized by the School of International Education upon their application may be admitted to the third year of the Chinese Language program.
4. Requirements for Chinese heritage background: If both or one of the applicant’s parents is a Chinese citizen, or the applicant themselves obtained foreign nationality after immigrating to a foreign country from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan, in accordance with Document No. 12 [2020] of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, they must have held foreign nationality for 4 years or more, and have a record of actually residing in a foreign country for more than 2 years within the recent 4 years (by April 30, 2026). (Actually residing in a foreign country for 9 months or more in a year can be counted as one year, based on entry and exit stamps.) Applicants born abroad must also meet the above requirements and submit their personal birth certificate and materials proving their parents’ nationality.

学校将根据学生申请及面试情况收到录取结果。
报到时间

3 签证申请Visa application
被录取者应持普通护照、录取文件中的录取通知书、外国来华留学人员签证申请表复印件、外国人体格检查记录及所有体格检查（含血检）报告，在入境前根据其学习期限向中国驻其国籍国或居住地国使领馆或中国外交部委托的其他驻外机构申请办理学生（X1或X2）签证。 注明：被录取者如果学生原则上应持签证，按报到时间到校注册
Admitted students should apply for a student (X1 or X2) visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate in their country of nationality or residence, or other overseas institutions entrusted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, before entering China, based on the duration of their studies. They should present their ordinary passport, the admission notice from the admission documents, a copy of the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China, the Foreigner Physical Examination Record, and all physical examination (including blood test) reports. Note: Admitted students should, in principle, hold a visa and register at the university on the reporting date.
4 住宿accommodation
国际教育学院将为在规定时间内报到注册的新生安排校内住宿。

5 学制、学位的颁发与授予
Academic System, Awarding and Conferral of Degrees
武汉大学本科学制为四年到六年，主要采用中文教学，部分专业采用英文教学。 完成规定的教学计划，考核合格并通过毕业论文答辩，颁发本科毕业证书，经学位审查合格，授予学士学位。
The undergraduate program at Wuhan University has a duration of 4 to 6 years. It is mainly taught in Chinese, with some majors taught in English. Upon completion of the prescribed teaching plan, passing all assessments, and successfully defending the graduation thesis, students will be awarded an undergraduate graduation certificate. Those who pass the degree examination will be awarded a bachelor’s degree.
CSCA
CSCA是面向计划赴中国攻读本科学位的国际学生设计的标准化考试，由国家留学基金管理委员会组织，联合国内高校专家共同研发，旨在评估学生的语言能力与学术基础，帮助学生更好地为在中国的本科学习做准备。所有申请武汉大学的国际学生均须参加CSCA，作为武汉大学在招收本科生及奖学金评审中参考的重要依据之一。
CSCA is a standardized test designed for international students planning to pursue undergraduate degrees in China. It is organized by the China Scholarship Council and jointly developed by experts from domestic universities. The purpose of CSCA is to assess students’ language proficiency and academic foundation, helping them better prepare for undergraduate studies in China. All international students applying to Wuhan University are required to take the CSCA, which serves as one of the important references for Wuhan University in undergraduate admissions and scholarship evaluation.
