International students from Northwestern Polytechnical University appeared at the National Day friendly exchange activities between China and the five Central Asian countries

On October 21, 2025, the National Day friendly exchange activities between China and the five Central Asian countries with the theme of "Silk Road Love, Good Neighborliness, National Day and Heart-to-Heart" were held in Central Asia Park of Xi'an Chanba International Port. The School of International Education of Northwestern Polytechnical University organized 16 students from five Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan to participate. A "Folk Dance of the Five Central Asian Countries", which integrates the cultural characteristics of the five Central Asian countries, opened the whole exchange activity.

The "Folk Dance of the Five Central Asian Countries" participated by Northwestern Polytechnical University this time focuses on the very representative wedding scenes of Central Asia, integrates the marriage customs of the five Central Asian countries with dance elements, and restores the lively scene of relatives and friends gathering, singing and dancing through cheerful dance steps, so that the audience can intuitively feel the enthusiasm and vitality of the Central Asian nation, and received warm applause from the audience after the performance.

In addition to participating in the opening dance performance, international students of Northwestern Polytechnical University also actively integrated into other exchange links. International students have said that participating in such cross-border exchange activities not only sends blessings to their motherland, but also has the opportunity to show their hometown culture to Chinese friends, and can deeply appreciate the meaning of "each has its own beauty, beauty and beauty".

The event was jointly sponsored by the Secretariat of the China-Central Asia Mechanism, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and other units, aiming to deepen the people-to-people friendship between China and the five Central Asian countries and inject humanistic vitality into the construction of a China-Central Asia community with a shared future.

In the future, the School of International Education of Northwestern Polytechnical University will continue to rely on the geographical and cultural advantages of Xi'an's "starting point of the Silk Road" to carry out more cross-border cultural exchange activities, help cultivate young talents with international vision and cross-cultural communication skills, and continue to contribute to the friendly cooperation between China and Central Asia and neighboring countries.
