International students from Xidian University participated in the National Day friendly exchange activities between China and the five Central Asian countries

On the afternoon of October 22, the friendly exchange activities between China and the five Central Asian countries were held in the square of the Central Asia Cultural Park. At the invitation of the Secretariat of the China-Central Asia Mechanism, Xidian University organized international students to participate in this friendly exchange activity.

10 international students majoring in Chinese International Education from the School of Foreign Languages of Xidian University specially presented the Turkmenistan folk dance Rezjinka. This dance is part of Turkmenistan's national culture and is a symbol of energy, strength, and beauty. Rezkinka is also popular in Turkmenistan, often performed at festivals and concerts, and has served as a bridge for cultural communication between the Caucasus and Turkmenistan, emphasizing the shared love of music and dance among the peoples of the region. The reproduction of this classic by international students from Xidian University is not only a tribute to traditional culture, but also a modern interpretation of dance art, bringing the audience a visual and cultural feast.

The richness and colorfulness of culture stem from mutual exchanges, and the breadth and depth of civilization benefits from mutual reference. In this cultural exchange activity, international students from five Central Asian countries presented a vivid scene of "each has its own beauty, beauty and beauty", reflecting the integration and exchange between different cultures.

This event showcased the talent and enthusiasm of Xidian international students, enhanced the understanding and friendship between Chinese and foreign students, and added rich connotations to the development of regional multiculturalism.

It is reported that the China-Central Asia Mechanism is a multilateral cooperation platform established by China in 2020, with members including China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The mechanism focuses on regular meetings and covers ministerial dialogues in various fields such as diplomacy, economy and trade, and transportation, aiming to deepen regional cooperation.

On May 19, 2023, the China-Central Asia Summit was successfully held in Xi'an, and the heads of state agreed to establish a permanent secretariat of the China-Central Asia Mechanism in China. The event was organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and other units, and 8 international student enrollment universities in the province participated in the event.
