Anhui University's 2025 international student freshman entrance education series was successfully held

In order to help international freshmen quickly adapt to the campus environment and smoothly start their study and life in China, the School of International Education has carefully organized and carried out a series of activities for the 2025 international student entrance education, building an important platform for freshmen to understand the school and perceive China.

On September 12, the college organized all international freshmen to watch the opening ceremony of the school's 2025 freshmen to welcome a new starting point in university life.

In order to enhance the fire safety awareness of international students and improve their emergency self-rescue capabilities, from September 17th to 18th, the college organized freshmen to participate in fire safety training and experience activities at the Qingyuan Campus and Longhe Campus respectively, helping students master the basic skills of fighting fires in the early stages, learn escape and self-rescue knowledge, and effectively improve their ability to respond to sudden fires.

In order to help freshmen better adapt to the learning requirements, the college organized education and training for freshmen on September 19. As the "first lesson of admission", this training focuses on academic preparation and teaching management, covering key links closely related to academic planning, teaching system operation, academic norms and other key links that are closely related to academics, helping freshmen lay a solid foundation and clarify the direction, and laying a solid foundation for the smooth start of their study career in China.

On September 26, the college invited Sheriff Xuan Yingying of Hefei Exit and Entry Administration Bureau and Lawyer Wang Xiuzhong of DeHeng Law Firm to hold a special lecture on Chinese law and security knowledge for international freshmen. Officer Xuan systematically introduced entry and exit laws and regulations such as visa types, suspension procedures, and regulations on the management of religious activities, and explained various precautions during studying in China in a simple and simple way based on actual cases. Lawyer Wang explained key contents such as employment policies, drug crimes, traffic safety, and prevention of online telecommunications fraud, and effectively enhanced students' legal awareness and safety precautions through interaction and exchange with students through typical cases. After the lecture, Zhang Yan and Liu Zongbao, vice deans of the college, respectively gave further interpretations and explanations on discipline and safety-related matters such as accommodation management, insurance matters, and leave system.

This series of entrance education activities is solid and rich in content and diverse forms, aiming to guide international students to consciously abide by Chinese laws and regulations, build a strong sense of safety precautions, and escort them to achieve safe and successful study abroad.
