On October 16, 2025, the autumn large-scale double selection event for the 2026 graduates of Chongqing University was successfully held at Huxi Stadium on the Science City Campus. About 200 international students from our school and some universities in Chongqing participated in the double selection activity, including 15 family units such as Baowu Group, TBEA Shenyang Transformer Group Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Sinoma Construction Co., Ltd., and about 200 international students from our school and some universities in Chongqing participated in the double selection activity.
With the help and guidance of on-site teachers and volunteers, international students who participated in the double selection meeting had face-to-face exchanges with representatives of relevant employers according to their majors and interests, consulted and understood the situation of employers and positions, and submitted their resumes. The atmosphere at the event was warm.
The representative of the employer expressed his affirmation and gratitude for the careful organization and arrangement of this double selection activity. The relevant person in charge of Baowu Group, who came to participate in the employment exchange of international students for the second time, said that this event communicated with many international students and received 22 resumes submitted by graduating international students, which was a great gain. They believe that Chongqing University has innovatively set up an employment exchange area for international students at the large-scale graduation double selection meeting of domestic universities, which has built a good platform for Chinese enterprises to expand the international market and recruit outstanding international talents for business, which is very worth promoting!
The event also specially invited police officers from the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Exit and Entry Management Detachment of the High-tech Zone Bureau of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau to provide relevant consulting services for international students who plan to work and start businesses in China, and gave detailed explanations to international students on facilitation service policies and relevant laws and regulations such as innovation and entrepreneurship visa processing, settlement support, and employment guidance.
On the day of the double selection event, the delegation of Zhengzhou Coal Mining Machinery Group Co., Ltd. and the Study Abroad Center had friendly exchanges on international talent training, international student internship practice, and recruitment of outstanding international talents, and reached cooperation intentions. Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd. visited the School of Resources and Safety Engineering of our university and carried out international talent recruitment lectures.
In order to do a good job in this double selection activity, with the support and help of the Chongqing University Vocational Employment Center, the Chongqing University Study Abroad Center actively communicated with various recruiting units in the early stage, organized and mobilized students to participate, achieved good results, and won unanimous praise from employers and international students.
