On the afternoon of Friday, October 17, 2025, the student activity room in the middle building of the School of International Education of Yanta Campus of Xi'an Jiaotong University was filled with youthful enthusiasm and multicultural vitality. At the beginning of the event, Li Han, the instructor of the dance troupe, introduced the background of the dance troupe's establishment, organizational structure, classification of various departments, and daily training and activity arrangements to the students. Teacher Li mentioned that since its establishment, the Jiaoxiaoliu Dance Troupe has always taken "artistic and cultural exchanges" as the core, with Chinese dance, Latin dance, jazz, Korean dance, hip-hop and other dance departments, and is committed to providing a platform for international students from all over the world to show themselves, improve their dance skills, and exchange culture. She also emphasized the discipline requirements and team spirit of the dance troupe, and encouraged the students to constantly break through themselves in training and jointly promote the development of the dance company.
Immediately afterwards, the ministers of the dance troupe brought wonderful dance demonstrations. The Latin dance minister performed a clip of "Time" that combines Chinese style and jazz elements, with beautiful dance postures and distinct rhythms, showing the solid skills and rich expressiveness of the dance troupe members, and winning bursts of applause from the audience.
The subsequent interview session for new members of the 25th session pushed the atmosphere to a climax. Students from India, Iran, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar and other countries took the stage to show their unique dance programs. The Dai dance is soft and flexible, the pop dance is full of movement, the girl group dance is full of vitality, and the national dances of various countries are wonderful, showing strong cultural diversity. The scene was full of applause and a warm atmosphere.
Instructor Li Han made detailed comments on each program, affirmed the students' enthusiasm and expressiveness in dance, and conducted an on-site basic skills test for students with good foundations, encouraging everyone to continue to polish their skills and improve their level in future training.
