The Mid-Autumn Festival carries the deep yearning of Chinese people for reunion, harvest and a better life; As a unique Mid-Autumn Festival folk custom in southern Fujian, Bo cake is not only a game of dice, but also carries profound cultural meaning and folk wisdom. On the evening of September 26, students gathered in the "one-stop" student community Nanguang Wu Shared Space of Xiamen University to start a unique Mid-Autumn Festival cultural experience journey. At the beginning of the event, the host told more than ten international students from all over the world, introduced the origin and traditional customs of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and explained in detail the rules of the cake and the auspicious meaning contained in it, helping the students establish a cultural cognition of this traditional activity before participating.

Subsequently, the students were divided into groups to participate in the actual battle of gambling. The dice fell into the bowl, jingling, and the atmosphere was warm and cheerful. From "one show" and "second move" to "three reds" and "champions", every round of dice rolling is accompanied by surprises and cheers. The students not only felt the fun of competition in the game, but also experienced the folk psychology and life philosophy of "begging for luck" and "talking about auspiciousness" in Chinese culture. The event also set up a special exchange and sharing session, and the international students spoke enthusiastically, shared their feelings of participation, and said that through this activity, they had a more intuitive understanding of China's festival culture and made more friends.
