International Students from Chongqing University Visit the Museum of History of China's Democratic Parties

On November 22, 20 international students from Chongqing University and 20 members of the Chongqing Western Returned Scholars Association visited the China Democratic Parties History Museum to carry out a study tour. This event was organized by the Chongqing Western Returned Scholars Association and the China Democratic Parties History Museum, with support and co-organization from Chongqing University. Through on-site visits and interactive exchanges at the museum, the international students explored the development history of China's multi-party cooperation cause and learned about the unique advantages of China's new type of political party system.

Centered on youth as a link, this study tour fully leveraged the resource advantages of the China Democratic Parties History Museum, providing a vivid practical sample for international students to understand China's social governance system. It helped them intuitively recognize the inclusiveness and superiority of China's new type of political party system, and was a beneficial exploration for telling good Chinese stories and spreading Chinese voices. Guided by the dual explanation model of "museum experts + professional translators," the international students visited exhibition halls for China's new type of political party system, the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (MINGE), China Democratic League (MINMENG), China Democratic National Construction Association (MINJIAN), Jiu San Society, and non-party personages, as well as the former residence of Te Yuan. As the study tour group walked and observed, they stopped from time to time to exchange ideas. Everyone expressed that to understand a comprehensive and true China, one must understand China's basic political system. China's new type of political party system adapts to the new era, has achieved new development, and demonstrates unique advantages in China's political and social life, which also provides Chinese wisdom and solutions for the development of world political civilization.

The China Democratic Parties History Museum is located in Shangqing Temple, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It was established based on "Te Yuan," a national key cultural relic protection unit, with a construction area of 20,000 square meters. It uses texts, images, cultural relics, and physical objects to narrate, and presents content through multiple means such as sound, light, and electricity. It exhibits about 1,300 historical photos and about 2,200 cultural relics (sets). It vividly interprets the magnificent picture of the Communist Party of China (CPC) uniting and leading all democratic parties, non-party personages, and the majority of members of the united front to work together and strive for rejuvenation. It is an important window for telling good stories of the CPC and the multi-party cooperation system.
