On November 13, a unique cultural exploration tour kicked off brilliantly in Guangzhou. International students from three campuses of Jinan University embarked on an immersive study tour of Lingnan culture, deeply experiencing the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture.
The Jinan University study tour opened a window to Lingnan culture. The international students' first stop was the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, where they deeply felt the sacrifices and contributions made by the Chinese people in striving for national independence and national liberation. At Bruce Lee's Former Residence, the international students observed carefully, listened attentively, and interacted enthusiastically, comprehending the inclusive spiritual core of Chinese martial arts. In the Cantonese Opera Museum, the international students were deeply attracted by the wonderful performances and immersed themselves in them. Strolling through Yongqingfang Arcade Street, the trendy cultural and creative shops on the street displayed a dazzling array of goods. The collision between intangible cultural heritage and cultural and creative products sparked brilliant sparks. The international students wandered through the street, marveling at the exquisite craftsmanship and being drawn to the creative cultural and creative ideas, and took photos one after another. As night fell, the two sides of the Pearl River blazed with lights like stars, and the river breeze was refreshingly pleasant. Standing on the bow of the boat to admire the night view, the international students marveled at Guangzhou's openness and vitality.
Promoting Cultural Exchange and Mutual Learning: For international students, this immersive study tour is not only a journey to deeply understand and learn about traditional Chinese culture, but also a journey of spiritual baptism and growth. They engaged in in-depth dialogue amid the integration of tradition and modernity, truly experiencing the charm of cultural mutual learning.
Organizing this event is an important measure for the university to advance internationalized education and promote cultural exchange and mutual learning. It allows international students to feel the charm of Chinese culture, promotes mutual understanding and respect among cultures, and builds a bridge for China-foreign exchanges. In the future, more similar activities will be organized to provide platforms and opportunities for understanding Chinese culture, contributing positive efforts to promoting exchanges and integration between different cultures and advancing the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
