The international students first visited the Science and Technology Courtyard of Jilin University. Then he went to the corn demonstration field of Professor Cui Jinhu of the School of Plant Sciences of Jilin University. On saline-alkali land, the continuous corn is growing happily. The staff explained in detail the advanced planting technology developed by Professor Cui Jinhu's team for local soil characteristics, and the application of science and technology in the whole process from variety improvement to field management, so that the originally low-yield saline-alkali land has achieved a leap in yield quality. The students truly felt the responsibility of Jilin University to empower rural development with scientific research power, and witnessed with their own eyes how science and technology have become the "golden key" to poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.

On the 12th, the students went to the Xianghai Nature Reserve. On Crane Island, everyone observed the spectacular crane release activity; Then I climbed to Lanhai Pavilion to overlook the autumn colors of the wetland, and deeply appreciated China's outstanding achievements in ecological protection and sustainable development. This trip to Tongyu will organically combine understanding of scientific and technological poverty alleviation with natural ecological exploration. It not only allowed international students to witness the powerful power of scientific research to empower rural revitalization, but also allowed them to appreciate the ecological beauty of China's countryside.
