Inner Mongolia University 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival Cultural Experience Activities for International Students

On the afternoon of September 25, the School of International Education of Inner Mongolia University successfully held the "Full Moon in China, Gathering in Inner University" Mid-Autumn Festival cultural experience activity for international students. More than 50 international students from Mongolia, Russia, Thailand, Japan and other countries gathered together to welcome the Mid-Autumn Festival and immerse themselves in the profound charm of traditional Chinese culture.

In his speech, Dean Ren Ligang extended holiday greetings to teachers and students, and said that Inner Mongolia University has always been the "second home" of our international students in China, and he encouraged students to deeply understand Chinese civilization through the Mid-Autumn Festival culture and strive to become young envoys of people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries. During the event, Dr. Yang Huanwei gave a special lecture on Mid-Autumn Festival culture, vividly interpreting the cultural connotation and feelings of family and country behind the festival.

In the interactive experience session, students tasted mooncakes, enjoyed tea art, and made lanterns, and understood the meaning of traditional Chinese festivals and felt the warm festival atmosphere in cultural practice. In recent years, the School of International Education has continued to build a cultural education system based on traditional festivals, and festivals such as the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival have become vivid carriers for perceiving China and connecting the world.

This event not only created an open and inclusive campus atmosphere, but also promoted the integration of humanities and mutual learning among civilizations at the practical level, injecting new momentum into cultivating young students with global vision and cultural understanding. All international Chinese teachers and international student counselors of the School of International Education participated in this event.
