Study in Chongqing International students participated in the "Tell the World about Chongqing" cultural tourism promotion officer activity and won the award

On the afternoon of October 30, 2025, under the guidance of the Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Development Commission, the "Tell the World About Chongqing" International Student Cultural Tourism Promotion Officer Award Ceremony was successfully held at the Chongqing Jialingjiang Cableway Museum, jointly sponsored by the Chongqing International Exchange Center, Chongqing Vocational College of Culture and Arts, and the Education Management Branch of the Chongqing Society of Higher Education.

The event attracted 160 international students from 36 countries and regions around the world, including Russia, Italy, Morocco, Vietnam, Egypt, and Brazil, covering 8 universities including Chongqing University and Southwest University. During the event, international students created more than 100 works by experiencing Chongqing's city, landscape, intangible cultural heritage, food, cruise ships, hot springs and other characteristic cultural tourism resources, which were disseminated through global network platforms. After a comprehensive evaluation by a jury composed of cultural and tourism experts, media scholars, and foreign experts from multiple dimensions such as cultural connotation, creative expression, production level, and international communication ability, the "Gold Medal Cultural Tourism Promotion Officer" and various characteristic individual awards were finally selected.

DE ABREU BORGES JESSICA DAYANE and Arthur Catunda de Freitas, Brazilian students from Chongqing University, won the "Best Content Award"; Egyptian student KHALIL MARIAM MOSTAFA KAMEL MOHAMED won the "Best Copywriting Award"; Vietnamese student NGUYEN THI NGOC ANH was named "Yuequan Promotion Officer". They spent several months crossing the Bayu landscape, in-depth collection, and careful creation, standing out from many contestants with their cultural tourism promotion works, becoming the new generation of cultural envoys who spread the charm of Chongqing to the world, and will also become the most vivid and moving voice of Chongqing on the international stage.
