On the afternoon of October 29, in order to improve the quality of the backbone team of international students and strengthen the exchange and cooperation of international students between universities, representatives of the student union of the School of International Education were invited to Xi'an Jiaotong University to conduct research and exchanges.
At the School of International Education of Xi'an Jiaotong University, representatives of the international student unions of the two universities had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the role of the student union in the growth and service of international students. Representatives of the International Student Federation of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Nasijia and Yang Huiyuan, introduced in detail the practical exploration and work results of the International Student Federation of Xi'an Jiaotong University around the organizational structure, division of labor of core departments, and special activity planning.
Subsequently, YASSER CHAAIR, President of the International Student Union of our school, elaborated on the work concept and development vision of "student-centered and service-oriented", comprehensively demonstrated the organization, operation and service model of the International Student Union of our university, and focused on sharing the innovative strategies of the student union's publicity work and specific measures for student services.
In the free exchange session, the two sides had a heated discussion on organizational optimization, service innovation, work difficulties, etc., and imagined cooperation opportunities such as cross-university cultural and sports activities and academic competitions, and further discussed feasible paths and specific plans to promote exchanges and interactions between international student groups of the two universities. Before the discussion and exchange, the delegation also visited the Westward Migration Museum of Xi'an Jiaotong University.
The exchange activities ended successfully in a heated discussion between the representatives of both sides, and representatives of the international student unions of the two universities expressed their desire to take this event as an opportunity to deepen friendship, learn from each other, focus on promoting normalized exchanges and cooperation, jointly improve the comprehensive ability and leadership of international students, and actively contribute to the international education of the two universities.
