The competition was supported by the Sino-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Kunming, and the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee of the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week.

Three international students from our school were shortlisted for the final of the speech competition and won excellent results. Among them, the work "Traveling Ten Thousand Miles, Reading the Book of China" by Mingxuan, a Malaysian undergraduate student majoring in journalism in 2022, "Three Flavors of Books" by Yang Weijie, a Malaysian undergraduate student majoring in journalism in 2023, and Sang Jia, a Burmese undergraduate student majoring in Chinese language in 2024, all won the second prize.

At the final scene, the contestants combined classical Chinese culture with personal experience, from Shuwen Jie to Tang poetry and Song poetry, from the Hundred Schools of Thought to the four masterpieces, showing us China and Chinese culture in the eyes of international students.

"The small word 'home' is not only the password of Chinese civilization, but also a force that connects the world and creates the future together." Sangjia from Myanmar said in his speech.
Yang Weijie from Malaysia gave a speech titled "Three Flavors of Books", telling that Chinese culture is not only a brilliant achievement of the Chinese nation, but also a blood bond connecting Chinese people at home and abroad.
Using a wisp of books as a medium, it tells the story of international students and Chinese culture, and uses Chinese as a bridge, fully demonstrating the charm of Chinese culture.
