
On the afternoon of March 23, 2026, the semi-final offline defense of the First Fudan University International Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was successfully held at the Asia Youth Center (Qingshu Library).
A total of 11 visionary projects advanced to the final defense stage. The project leaders represent a diverse global community, hailing from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and South Africa. Among the 43 team members across these projects, 8 were Chinese students, showcasing a powerful model of international collaboration.
Focusing on “AI+” and Interdisciplinary Frontiers
The competition featured two tracks: the Creative Track and the Entrepreneurship Track. Projects focused on cutting-edge fields such as:
- New Engineering & New Medicine
- New Liberal Arts
- “AI+” Technologies
Each team had 8 minutes to present their core concepts, followed by a rigorous Q&A session. The judging panel consisted of elite innovation mentors from both inside and outside the university, along with gold-medal winners from national competitions, who evaluated projects based on innovation, feasibility, and growth potential.
