School Name: Shanghai University of International Business and EconomicsType of Certificate: Upon completion of studies and meeting graduation requirements, an undergraduate graduation certificate of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics shall be issued according to the admission level; those who meet the degree awarding requirements may be awarded a bachelor’s degree certificate.

1.All applicants to our undergraduate programs must take the Undergraduate Entrance Academic Proficiency Test for International Students Studying in China (CSCA Test) organized by the China Scholarship Council of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China before submitting their application for admission to our university. The official website of the CSCA Test is www.csca.cn.

  1. For applications to all undergraduate majors of our university for the 2026-2027 academic year, the following two CSCA Test subjects are required:① Liberal Arts Chinese (compulsory subject)② Mathematics (compulsory subject)
  2. All undergraduate programs for international students of our university in the 2026-2027 academic year are taught in Chinese, with a study duration of 4 years and a planned enrollment quota of 150 to 300 students.

1.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding valid foreign passports, with an educational background equivalent to or higher than Chinese senior high school graduation, aged no more than 25, and in good physical and mental health.2. Applicants who are residents of Chinese mainland (the mainland), Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who have immigrated and acquired foreign nationality, or persons who were born with foreign nationality because both or one of their parents are Chinese citizens settled in a foreign country, shall comply with the requirements of Document Jiao Wai Han [2020] No. 12 issued by the Ministry of Education.3. Have excellent academic performance and meet the requirements specified by the applying school and major.4. Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide a guardian’s guarantee. If the applicant’s parents are not within the territory of China, the parents shall entrust a foreigner or a Chinese citizen residing in China to act as the guardian.

   1.Chinese Government Scholarship ProgramThe application period for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A) shall be subject to the notice of the respective accepting institutions (international student dispatch authorities of various countries or Chinese embassies and consulates abroad); applications must be reviewed and approved by the accepting institutions.The application period for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Type B) shall be subject to the program notice.Applicants for all types of Chinese Government Scholarship programs shall not concurrently receive any other types of Chinese Government scholarships.

Shanghai Government Scholarship for International StudentsApplication Period: January 15, 2026 to May 10, 2026Applicants for the Shanghai Government Scholarship must have excellent academic performance and a Chinese language proficiency of HSK Level 4 or above; they shall not concurrently receive any other types of Chinese Government scholarships.
  2. International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship ProgramApplication Period: March 1, 2026 to May 10, 2026 (subject to the latest notice in case of any changes);Major: Limited to “Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages”
  3. Self-Funded Student ProgramApplication Period: January 15, 2026 to May 10, 2026Applicants must have excellent academic performance and a Chinese language proficiency of HSK Level 4 or above.

1.Take the “Undergraduate Entrance Academic Proficiency Test for International Students Studying in China” (CSCA Test). All applicants for undergraduate programs (including various scholarship and self-funded programs) must take the “Undergraduate Entrance Academic Proficiency Test for International Students Studying in China” organized by the China Scholarship Council of the Ministry of Education of China before submitting their application to our university, and upload their transcript when applying. *Note: The CSCA Test score is an important criterion for evaluating applicants’ academic ability. To ensure a smooth application process, please take the CSCA Test as early as possible and submit your score in a timely manner. For specific exam registration information, please visit the official CSCA website: www.csca.cn.

  1. Application Please complete the application form and upload all required documents in accordance with the instructions. Please ensure that all materials are authentic, accurate, clear and complete.
  2. Attend the interview Upon receiving the interview notice, you must attend the interview as required and on time. The interview schedule will be specified in the subsequent notice.
  3. Admission and Enrollment Admission shall be subject to the admission notice issued by Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. Admitted students must register at the university strictly in accordance with the time specified on the admission notice. Original documents such as graduation certificates will be verified during registration. Those who fail to obtain the corresponding certificates will be disqualified from enrollment.
