From September 27 to 28, 2025, the Management Committee of the Lingang New Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone held the "2025 Lingang International Students Seed Plan - Future Sense and Lingang Maker Living Notes" activity.
In this event, five international students from our university walked into this fast-growing international city together with international students from Soochow University, University of Science and Technology of China, East China University of Science and Technology, New York University Shanghai and other universities. The two-day itinerary was compact and fulfilling, leaving unforgettable memories of Lingang.
During the visit to the Lingang Planning Exhibition Center, the students intuitively understood the innovative achievements of Lingang in emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, new energy, and biomedicine through immersive experience.
Among them, the most impressive thing is Lingang's insistence on a "green future": whether it is the low-carbon design of smart buses or the ecological concept that can be seen everywhere in the park, it shows that the Lingang New Area is not only a highland of science and technology, but also an ecological model of sustainable development.

In just two days, everyone not only expanded their knowledge and horizons, but also established deep friendships with classmates from different countries. Lingang is not only a young city, but also a "book of the future" being written, in which every participant has left their own chapter.

We are very grateful to the organizers for giving us this valuable opportunity to get up close and personal with Shanghai's diverse high-tech industries and parks. This visit not only inspired me, but also gave me a lot of good memories. First of all, I was impressed by the Astronomical Museum, which had many interesting exhibits that made me curious about the universe. Then, I participated in the concert, and the beautiful melody made me completely immersed in it and felt the charm of the music. When I watched the fireworks at night, the colorful lights illuminated the night sky, and I was extremely excited, as if I had entered a dream. In the past two days, I had the honor of visiting Lingang New Area on behalf of Fudan University and four other friends to explore this new city. I had never heard of Lingang before, but in the past few days, I have not only discovered the modern and innovative side of Lingang, but also felt its unique charm as a growing center of culture, technology and lifestyle.

I gained a lot by participating in the international student activities in Lingang this weekend.
