University of Toronto Delegation Visits Shanghai Jiao Tong University

On the afternoon of December 2nd, Liu Weidong, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), met with a delegation led by Professor Alex Mihailidis, Associate Vice President of the University of Toronto, at the Minhang Campus. The two sides held talks on deepening cooperation between the two universities and expanding exchange areas.

Liu Weidong extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Associate Vice President Alex Mihailidis. He reviewed the long-term cooperation achievements between the two universities and expressed the hope that on the basis of existing cooperation, the two sides would further deepen student exchanges, expand joint scientific research, explore joint training programs, and welcome teachers and students from the University of Toronto to participate in academic exchange activities hosted by SJTU.

Alex Mihailidis stated that the University of Toronto is willing to work with SJTU to explore substantive cooperation in multiple fields such as humanities and social sciences, overcome challenges in current cooperation, and promote the steady advancement of bilateral relations. Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, School of International and Public Affairs, Pujiang International College, and Zhiyuan College attended the meeting.
